Hi everyone!
The blog on the website was rarely getting updated (Not my fault there's more important things to do on the yard! - D) so we decided that it would be more productive to have it on here where it was easier to edit and update. The old blogs will still stay online on the yard's website but all new stuff will go here.
Some of you will know us already from David's blog on the EAE site but for those who don't know us, here's a brief introduction.
I'm David Allaway, Yard Manager/second-in-command at EAE and chief blogger...well, until Lisa decided she wanted to join in too!
I have a dalmation called Lily, a cat called Fidget...oh and a barely ridable Lusitano called Tamarind. I expect you'll have heard of him; he's rather infamous round here now...
...and I'm Lisa Manning!
I help out with lessons and general yardy business but I mainly take hacks and co-ordinate the summer riding club camps and things.
I have a lovely Arab/Welsh Cob gelding called Kerry who, despite eating like there's no tomorrow, has a turn of speed like no other!
We like hacking and low level showing but we'd really like to try some endurance riding next year and see what it's all about as it sounds like a right laugh! (Oh and I've also got a little fluffy mongrel called Bob - you can't miss him, he looks like a cloud with legs!)
We welcome guest bloggers too so send us a message if you'd be interested!
Hiya there folks! Georgie McTale from Willow Equestrian here - would you be interested in a guest post about riding holidays? As WE's holiday coordinator, I like to think I know a thing or two XD If you're not looking for guest posts, no worries :)
ReplyDeleteIndeed we would! Sorry it's taken so long to get back to you - *someone* hasn't been checking the comments...
